Cleaning Your Tupperware

Most products are dishwasher safe, but there are a few that are not. For example, the Ice Prism Bowls are not recommended for the dishwasher because you risk scratching the plastic. Please read the care instructions with each product to learn how to care for your Tupperware.

Do you have sticky Tupperware? In most cases people still use their Tupperware despite the sticky feeling of the plastic because it still functions as it should. The plastic has simply become sticky with aging, but it can feel like new in just a couple of minutes. The Solution: Make a baking soda paste, rub it all over, and then wash the container. Your Tupperware will be as good as new!

Tupperware and the Microwave

Once again, please read the care instructions prior to using your Tupperware. Most Tupperware is safe for microwave reheating, but it is not intended to be used for microwave cooking. Even with Tupperware microwave products, such as Rock 'N Serve, the care instructions will indicate that you should reduce the power of your microwave.

Avoid heating foods high in sugar or fat, as the plastic make become pitted (which is not covered by Tupperware's Lifetime Guarantee).
